Èveryday Knit - September - Newsletter

Hi everyone!💛

This is the first Official Newsletter! Trying out something new, Since I now think I have enough to say about my designs now to actually write a newsletter. Which seems kind of funny but here I am!

First of all, the Èveryday Top is officially released! I’m so, so happy to finally have this one out in the world, especially after all the work that went into it. Thank you again to everyone who helped test knit it!

Now what’s next…??

I actually already started on the next design! The sample is knit, and I’m currently in the grading process. I’m hoping to get it off to the tech editor by next week and, fingers crossed, start the test knit before the end of the month… I think we can do it!

It’s an Aran-weight poncho, using around 200 g of yarn or more, depending on the size and yarn you’re using. Mine was knit entirely with my own handspun. A 4ply that I spun back in july during TDF. So I was a little limited by the amount of yarn I had. But the yarn was far too beautiful, super squishy, and soft. I just knew it was meant to become a poncho! Turns out I had just enough to make it fit just right and still be the right length and oversize.

Currently I just need to sew on the button weave in my ends, and take more pics. While I work on this, I wanted to give you the Past testers, and those who signed up on my site to get early access to test knits, a heads-up to sign up before I put out the official test knit call.
